The renewal of business permits by business operators in the city has been extended to February 28, this year. This after the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) members granted during their regular session the request of the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI) on said extension.
Bacolod Vice Mayor Greg G. Gasataya said the SP granting MBCCI’s request was in lieu of the letter by its president Frank Carbon.
Carbon wrote asking the Sanggunian for an extension of the deadline of filing of business permits up to the first quarter of February, 2014, Gasataya said.
The extension will allow all business operators, who are actually an income generating source of the city, to comply with the city’s requirements pertaining to operating a business in Bacolod as a sign of gratitude to them, Gasataya said.
That’s how business-friendly Bacolod City is, added Gasataya.*
